We’ve finally reached the final WCR Soccer on Television entry of the season. And to be perfectly honest, I’m not sure there’s a reason to post it this week. Oh, sure, there’s some match being playing at Wembley Stadium tomorrow, but if you have any interest in that, then I’m pretty sure you already know how and where you are going to watch it. (By the way, I don’t know how and where I’m going to watch it, yet. I’m sure I’ll be in some bar in Liverpool. If you have any suggestions on the best one in which to watch the match, let me know at empshel@worldclubrankings.com)
We are continuing our policy of not publishing women’s matches or matches of sub-top leagues. If clubs from the Championship League want to be on the list, then they should win and they can be here next year. Unlike usual weeks, there’s plenty of room to include them on the list this week. It’s just that old habits are hard to break.
There’s no Top Five Matches of the Weekend this weekend because I couldn’t find five matches that I wanted to watch. I’m pretty sure you can figure out which match would have topped the list, though. Whoever you’ll be rooting for, have a great weekend!!!
