Weekend Soccer Television Schedule - 23/24 April 2011

I’m not going to lie to you.  This weekend isn’t going to be the most exciting weekend on the world football stage.  That’s not to say, though, that there won’t be some good matches.  The only match involving of pair of clubs in the WCR Top 25 takes place in Valencia, where Real Madrid returns to the scene of its recent Copa del Rey triumph for a matchup of two of the top three clubs in Spain.

Also, there are a few matches that will be important in sorting out 2011-12 European spots, including matches involving Inter Milan/Lazio and Villarreal/Sevilla.  Throw in the French Coupe de Ligue final between Marseille and Montpellier and I’m sure you can figure out something to watch.  For those Anglophiles out there, the top match promises to be between Everton and Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Most of the above-mentioned matches will take place on Saturday, which is when most of the action this weekend will take place as clubs prepare for more important midweek matches in the European tournaments.  Have a great weekend!!!
