I’m sorry for being so lax on this site, but I’m having a great time in Mexico and despite the fact that there is a lot of stuff going on in the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Libertadores at the moment, the sad fact is that those results don’t affect the rankings until the end of each round. So, for instance, even though Arsenal beat Barcelona, those results won’t be reflected in the rankings until such time as Arsenal eliminates Barcelona from the Champions League. That’s a huge “until such time as.”
As thus, the rankings are in a state of petrification until such time as bonus points are added as a result of advancing in the continental championship tournaments. Because I have been lax, below are the past two weeks of rankings for World Club Rankings. As you will see, there is very little change in the rankings from week-to-week and that will continue to be the case until the end of the Champions Leagues’ Round of Sixteen. Stay tuned.
