Weekend Soccer Television Schedule - 29/30 January 2011

Everybody is back in action now. Well, not everybody, but almost everybody that is normally televised in America. You know, except the Americans. And the Argentines, I suppose. Still, most everybody is back now. The television schedule is pretty full up again, anyway.

Despite the fact that almost everybody is back, there are no matches this weekend between WCR Top 25 Clubs. Nevertheless, there are some good matches this weekend. For my money, the best matches are coming out of Germany where second-place Bayer Leverkusen takes on third-place Hannover 96 while perennial powers Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen go at it. There’s also FA Cup action in England, for whatever that’s worth (I’m not a big fan of the domestic cup exhibitions). Of course, there’s lots of other stuff on U.S. television as well. All of it is listed below. Have a great weekend!!!

Top Five Matches of the Weekend:

1. Hannover 96 at Bayer Levrerkusen (Friday, 2:30 pm (EST), ESPND, ESPN3)
