The description of this week’s matches has to be somewhat abbreviated because I’m busy packing for a week-long trip to Washington and New York City. We will tell you, though, that there are two matches bookending this weekend that feature a pair of ranked clubs. On Friday, the German Bundesliga returns with a bang as Bayer Leverkusen hosts leader Borussia Dortmund. On Sunday, at White Hart Lane in North London, the other match takes place when Tottenham Hotspur hosts top-ranked Manchester United.
