As we wind down the year, the matches on television become fewer, but that doesn’t mean that many of them aren’t important.
We have a few more championships to settle in this mini-championship season. The big one, of course, will be the final of the Club World Cup. As always, it will feature European champions Barcelona against South American champions Estudiantes. It’ll be 1 pm here in my final day in Argentina and maybe Estudiantes can make it interesting. In another South American championship, Independiente Medellin and Atletico Huila will face off in the second leg of the matchup that will decide the champions of Colombia.
There will be one match this weekend featuring a pair of clubs in the WCR Top 25. It won’t be televised but it will be available online of ESPN 360. That match features Portuguese powerhouses Benfica and Porto and is highlighted this week as the Match of the Weekend. The entire schedule is listed below. Have a great weekend!!!
