Sorry futbol fans as I am again a little late with the television listings again this week, but it still is busy for us here in Buenos Aires and as long as we get the listings posted by Friday evening, we feel we’re doing pretty well and we hope that everything is here in time to do you some good.
There seems to be an unprecedented number of matches on this weekend. I don’t have the time or inclination to count them or compare the number to past weeks, so I’ll just leave it at it SEEMS to be an unprecedented number of matches.
The top match of the weekend, without doubt, is the one taking place at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Chelsea currently is ahead of the pack in the Premier League and the WCR Top 25 rankings and will have an opportunity to open a gap with Manchester United, though a Red Devil victory likely will allow United to pass Chelsea in both tables.
Unfortunately, the number two match of the weekend did not make it into the massive list of matches being broadcast this weekend. Not even ESPN 360 is broadcasting the battle in Enschede between current Eredivisie leaders Twente and Amsterdam powerhouse Ajax.
