Late again this week, but this time I’m blaming being busy in Buenos Aires, though I am. This week, I’m blaming the off again/on again wifi that I have where I am living in Buenos Aires. I move next week and I’m hoping it will improve then.
European club football takes the weekend off, so there are fewer much fewer matches this week than in recent weeks. The highlight of the weekend will be in Europe where the World Cup qualification playoffs begin. All of those matches will be on Setanta USA this weekend, with three of the four matches being broadcast live.
In addition to the European playoffs, there are also matches going on in the Western Hemisphere, including the MLS conference championships, as well as several international friendlies. My personal highlight is a trip to Monumental to see my first ever River Plate match in Buenos Aires.
