As we progress through the year, the amount of football available on television is increasing. This week, we welcome back the Eredivisie and the Mexican Primera Division back from winter breaks. This weekend, I’ve found 29 matches on the air. Here’s a breakdown of where they are from, just ‘cause: England (9), Italy (5), Spain (4), Mexico (3), Netherlands (2), Argentina (2), Australia (2), France (2).
Although I’m excited that the number of matches is increasing, I have to admit that this weekend does not provide a long list of marquee matchups. It was tough picking a top five since there are no matches between WCR Top 25 Clubs, or even any of the “bubbling under” clubs. That did, however, allow me to did a little deeper to find some interesting matchups and include a few from the Western Hemisphere on the list. If you get a chance, you should check them out. Either way, have a great weekend!!!
