Thanks to the wonder that is ESPN 360, you can now pretty much watch live football 24 hours a day either online or on television. Oh, the glory of the times we live in. And what else are you going to do? The economy’s gone straight to hell. You have or are about to lose your job. Your savings have turned to dust. No bank will lend you money. Since you probably had to pay for your cable and internet service a month in advance, it’s already paid for. You might as well vegetate in front of your television/computer and spend the rest of your time doing what God meant for you to do – watch football non-stop.
The massive changes in this week’s WCR Top 25 Clubs have no affect on this weekend’s football schedule. There are forty-seven, yes, forty-seven games listed below that will be available either on your computer or your television this weekend in the U.S. The teams involved in the top matchups are all familiar. A bonus this week is that the four best matchups of the weekend are all played at different times, so you don’t have to watch four games at once, which I often end up doing.
The only battle between WCR Top 25 Clubs this weekend takes place on Sunday morning at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea hosts Aston Villa. It’ll be a chance to see if Aston Villa deserves its high ranking or if it is just a pretender to the throne. The Barcelona/Atletico de Madrid match also has the makings of a classic. One match of note that is not being televised here takes place in Lisbon, where Sporting CP will host Porto on Sunday afternoon.
As always, the times listed below are U.S. Eastern Time. As always, I ask that if you have any additional information, or if you see any information below that is incorrect, please send me an e-mail or leave a comment and I’ll fix the list accordingly. As always, below is a list of the five matches that I am looking forward to most this weekend. As always, have a good weekend!!!
