WCR Goes Global!!!

Since we here at WCR are getting a ton more hits of late than ever before, I wanted to post a welcome message to all of the people who are new to the site. The reason behind the influx of new guests is our inclusion on the website at our new friends at www.cmonyuirons.com. From there, we were picked up on a number of fan forums in the United Kingdom, as well as others in Lithuania and I’m going to guess Thailand based on the language on the site, but I am just guessing. Glad you came on by and I hope you have a chance to look around and click on some sponsor links.

I’ve seen a lot of comments on the sites where the WCR Top 25 has been re-published have been, umm . . ., harsh. That’s fine. As I posted on another site, you don’t publish a Top 25 list without expecting to piss off a lot of people who believe that their team is being underrated. I do have a request, though. If you just want to bitch and moan and drop an insult or two, that’s okay, it’s a free country. (At least this one is. I can’t speak for wherever you are reading this.) However, if you disagree with the rankings, the site would be better served with your advice than your insults. For instance, I’m a little concerned that the formulas I’m using are giving too much credit to the Champions League and Copa Libertadores results, thus ranking teams like Barcelona and Liverpool too high. What do you think? I’m open to constructive criticism. (The hit-and-run insults . . . not so much.)

I’m moving the www.cmonyuirons.com site to the top of my blog list because any site that can boost my hit counter by 1000 hits in two days deserves some credit. Also, because it’s been over a month since the last posting by Soccer Source. (Nat, why have you abandoned us?) Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope that you like the site and, if not, there’s plenty of stuff on the internet that I’m sure you will like. Keep looking.
