I lied. I'm not starting in a few weeks.

I decided to go ahead and ask computer, computer on my desk, which football team is really best. It told me what it usually tells me. My computer is really fond of Serie A. Sorry Anglophiles, but just pretend it's because cheating helps.

World Football Club Top 25 - October 29, 2007

1. Internazionale (ITA) - Far and away the best team in Milan. AC's Champions League title still makes me a little sad . . .

2. Arsenal (ENG) - This is why I let my computer do my work. I hate Arsenal. Even without Henry, I hate Arsenal. Okay, maybe not as much, but still a lot.

3. Real Madrid (ESP) - Now that all of the Galacticos are gone, they may finally be the best in the world. Even without Beckham, considerably better than the Los Angeles Galaxy.

4. Porto (POR) - Okay, you're asking where the hell is ManU now, aren't you? I know you are. That's okay. My computer is a little partial to first-place teams.

5. Manchester United (ENG) - Does this answer your question? Here they are!! The best second place team in the world. That stands for something, right?

6. Roma (ITA) - They keep proving that they're not as good as ManU, but at least they proved once again that they are better than AC Milan.

7. Barcelona (ESP) - Is Lionel Messi the best player in the world? Or maybe Riquelme? Or maybe I like the Argentinians just a little too much.

8. Bayern Munchen (GER) - So much talent; so little point. Waited about a year too long to put together the World Cup All-Star team.

9. Fiorentina (ITA) - Playing very well in the best league on the planet.

10. Sao Paulo (BRA) - Running ruffshod all over the rest of the Brazilian teams. I don't know what ruffshod is or how to spell it, but ruffshod it is until I learn.
